THE smile project

I've had the pleasure of creating portraits for hundreds of individuals of all ages. One thing has become crystal clear to me: the younger the subject, the easier it is to capture a genuine, radiant smile (keep in mind, I’ve been around the sun quite a few times myself). So, I have to ask—what is it about us older folks that makes it challenging to smile?


I'm not going to stand for this! Let's show the world we can still light it up with our smiles!

The entire package is just $450—an incredible discount from my usual session fee.

• A 60-minute professional portrait session in a beautiful studio, with one of Seattle’s most experienced portrait photographers.

• A hand-picked, online gallery featuring the best images from your session.


• A 50% discount on high-resolution digital images, prints of any size on multiple media, luxury photo albums, or a premium folio box from your gallery images.


• An invitation to be a special guest at an exhibition gala showcasing the best images from this campaign—happening late 2026 at my pioneer square studio.

How it works:

Before booking your photoshoot we'll set up a brief phone consultation to learn more about you, to discuss the wardrobe for your session and other details, including after-the-shoot products available.


On the day of the shoot you’ll arrive with your selected wardrobe. We’ll hang up the clothes on a rack and take a look through what you brought.


I do everything I can to make sure you feel safe, relaxed and able to be yourself, and bring out your most radiant smile. I will guide you through the entire process, there’s really nothing you have to “do” except trust me. I guarantee we will get stunning images that you will love.  


After the shoot, I will hand-pick the best images from our shoot and send you a custom link to the online proofs. You'll decide which image or images you would like for your personal use from there.

I will contact you within 3 days of submitting this form. A payment of $200 will be required to secure your booking. Paypal, Zelle and Venmo or credit card accepted. You will receive further information in an email.


Cancellation policy: customers may reschedule prior to 48 hours of the scheduled shoot for a new session within 30 days. Cancellation within 48hrs of the shoot forfeits the booking fee (exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis).
